Come back! Even as a shadow,
even as a dream.

People do change. We can become better, we can become more. We can continue to experience, expand, and enrich. What we get to do today is remember that we are more than just the sum of our parts: exuberance and anxiety; fear and hope; dissonance and harmony; discomfort and determination. Our vulnerability is the source of our creativity and our creativity of our freedom. Today is a New Year for us to be part of an evolving creation, part of illumination. What kind of world do you really want to create? We are lovers and weavers; architects and poets. Accept blessing and luck with grace, take struggles in stride, build a world of love and kindness, so long as your heart still moves you.

Which was not to say that she would ever let him know, but only that he moved her chemically more than anyone she had ever met, that all other men seemed pale beside him.
